Legal Policies
The legal policy initiative is to create Deed Restrictions on workforce housing. This is a critical program to ensure that housing that is deemed “workforce housing” will remain attainable to meet the future needs of our community. Furthermore, it will not only allow us to put a cap on appreciation value and sale price but allow preference to be given to local residents who are public and private service workers (School District, Fire District, Municipal Corp., etc..) or who work full time in the city limits.
