Ombudsman
The ombudsman programs include:
- County-wide and/or municipal efforts to identify and promote infill sites appropriate for mixed uses, including workforce housing.
- Comprehensive and on-going training/information program for public and private constituents alike.
- Create and regularly update data base and projections regarding supply and need for workforce housing.
The Ombudsman will present the findings, from the research performed by DAWHAC, to the cities for implementation to meet the attainable housing need. In addition, he will also be a contact for individuals/families searching for workforce housing.
