Workforce housing presentation provided to Hurricane City

On Thursday, October 16th at 4:30p  a workforce housing presentation will be delivered to Hurricane City. This presentation will be conducted immediately prior to the City Council meeting. If your searching for additional workforce housing information and your schedule permits, please plan to be in attendance. The Hurricane City offices are located at 145 North 870 West.

Housing committee to hold future HR tours - The Spectrum

Based on the success of the initial tour, the Dixie Area Workforce Housing Affordability Committee decided Tuesday to hold future tours of available work-force housing in Washington County once every other month.

Where workers can rest - The Spectrum

WASHINGTON CITY - The Dixie Area Workforce Housing Affordability Committee, Southern Utah Home Builders Association, Five County Association of Governments, Washington County Board of Realtors and Department of Workforce Services recently hosted an “HR Home and Project Tour” of homes currently on the market in the Washington City area.

The goal of the tour was to give human resources personnel and business owners an idea of what’s available regarding workforce housing so they can provide that information to their employees. Wednesday’s tour was the first presented by the various organizations.
